Professor Fogo began Capoeira in 2008 and began teaching in 2010. With almost 15 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Professor Fogo is well-equipped to teach students of any age or lifestyle.
ContraMestra Nina
CapoKids Instructors
Contramestra Nina has been training Capoeira for her entire life, growing up inside the Capoeira Volta Ao Mundo Academy. She is the epitome of what a lifetime of dedication can do for a person, managing the preschool portion of CapoKids and having 15 years of experience in childcare before turning 30. She is a valuable member of CapoVAM, and a keystone member of Capoeira in the state of Florida.
Professor Sushi
Capoeira Teacher
Professor Sushi began training Capoeira in 2003, at 7 years old. After 6 plus years training in the CapoKids program, he began leading classes and teaching other CapoKids. With continuous and dedicated training, Professor Sushi has become one of the most well-known Capoeiristas in the state of Florida.
Monitora Navalha
Capoeira Teacher
Monitora Navalha began Capoeira at 6 years old, and has trained nonstop ever since at our Lakewood Ranch Capoeira location. Traveling across the state for Capoeira at every conceivable opportunity, she has made a name for herself as one of the most precocious Capoeiristas in the state.
