Instruments Layout at our Academies

Our academies should have this layout of instruments in working conditions at all times. This does not apply to people who teach in other academies. Right now this goes to only for SRQ and LWR academies.

BERIMBAU: 3 adult berimbaus (1 gunga, 1 medio, 1 viola)
3 kids berimbaus ( just small and/light berimbaus)

CAXIXI: 3-5

PANDEIRO: 2

ATABAQUE: 1

AGOGO: 1

BAQUETA: 5-10

ARAME: 5-10 (spare)

PEDRA: 5-10

SONG FOLDER: 1 (with VAM songs and songs we sing the most)

* The teachers are the main people responsible for the instruments but everybody should be in charge of taking care of the instruments.

*All instruments will be labeled either SRQ for Sarasota or LWR for LakewoodáRanch. This will help us track the instruments and ensure that they stay in theárespective academies.

*áAll instruments will be stored PROPERLY in the designated spaces in botháacademies.
? Instructors are responsible for teaching their students on the proper way ofáhandling and storing the instruments.

*áBroken instruments:
? It is the student’s responsibility to inform and hand over a broken instrument their instructor.
? Instructors are responsible for fixing the broken instruments whenever they see fit. If the instructor is unsure how to repair the instrument, pleaseáask Mestre Rony or Contra-Mestre Rajon
? Students with an orange cord and above should be able to fix minor damages.
? Each academy will have a basic repair kit consisting of wood glue, tape,ábox cutter/scissors, etc. These items will be placed in a clear plastic bagáthe office area.

Nuestras academias deben tener este dise±o de instrumentos en las condiciones de trabajo en todo momento. Esto no se aplica a las personas que ense±an en otras academias . Ahora esto va a solamente para SRQ, LWR y Aguascalientes academias.

* Los profesores son los principales responsables de los instrumentos, sino que todo el mundo debe estar a cargo del cuidado de los instrumentos.

* Todos los instrumentos se almacena correctamente en los espacios designados en las academias.
ááááááááááá? Los instructores son responsables de ense±ar a sus estudiantes sobre la manera adecuada de manejo y almacenamiento de los instrumentos.

* Instrumentos rotos :
áááááááááááá? Es responsabilidad del alumno informar y entregar un instrumento roto su instructor.
áááááááááááá? Los instructores son responsables de la fijaci¾n de los instrumentos rotos cuando lo consideren necesario . Si el instructor no estß seguro de c¾mo reparar el instrumento , por favor pregunte Comandante o Onca.
áááááááááááá? Los estudiantes con un cord¾n de color naranja y superiores deben ser capaces de arreglar da±os menores .
áááááááááááá? Cada academia tendrß un kit de reparaci¾n bßsica consistente en la cola de madera , cinta, cortador de cajas / tijeras, etc. Estos artÝculos serßn colocados en una bolsa de plßstico transparente de la zona de oficinas.
