The batizado is designed to celebrate the students and their effort in learning this incredible art of Capoeira. Some people will be rewarded with a cord or their next cord but this should be a consequence of their hard work in class. The main reason for the batizado is:
*to get together to see and play with your friends and fellow capoeiristas,
*Improve your capoeira and learn from the teachers and guests,
*see new things and play with different people,
*help our group grow,
*Give us a chance the let you know how important you are to us!

We were really careful to create and amazing event so make sue to attend the whole event if you want to take full advantage of it.
The prices are cheaper than last year:
*$80 for the whole weekend if you before November 1st (it will be $100 after that)
*Out-of-towners will be $80 even if they pay after November 1st.
*The price is the same for all CapoKids.
*All the workshops, event t-shirt, classes, housing and rodas are included with this price.

November 6th, Thursday. LWR Academy
Workshops/Roda with the Instructors, mestre and contra-mestres of Capoeira Volta ao Mundo
From 6:00pm until 9:00pm in the Lakewood Ranch Academy.

November 7th, Friday. SRQ Academy

• All CapoKids will get together for a big Roda in the Sarasota Academy. The CapoKids from Lakewood Ranch will be taken to the SRQ academy from school, Arriving there around 4:00pm. (If you need a ride, the bus can take you from LWR to SRQ at 3:30pm at the LWR academy. Let Mestre know if you are going to go with us (941 284 0897)
• 4:00pm to 6:00pm-Roda with CapoKids. The Capoparents can pick up their children from 5:00pm on. They are more then welcome and they are invited to come and watch their capokids play.
• 6:00pm Workshops for adults and teenagers and advanced capokids in SRQ. Mestre Rony, Mestre Virgulino, Contra Mestre Maluco will be teaching the classes.
• 9:00pm Roda!

November, 8th, Saturday, SRQ Academy

• 9:00am Capoworkout and capocrossfit at Urfer Family Parkáin SRQ close to the Academy.
• 10:30 am Music Class at SRQ academy
• 12:00 pm Lunch break
