Teachers Cord Requirements

These are the requirements to become a teacher at CapoVAM

• Has to teach at once a week
• Has to write a research paper on any subject about capoeira. It needs to be approved by Mestre Rony though.
• Has to Know all the previous requirements for all the cords at CapoVAM
• Has to know conversational Portuguese
• Have an interview with a Mestre of Capoeira and have it posted on CapoVAM site.
• Have to write and sing a song in a roda. Ladinha, corrido or any type of capoeira song
• Have to write a book report of a book suggested by Mestre Rony
• Have to have a minimum of 5 years of active time with the blue cord
• Have all the research paper and book report posted at the site
• Put a performance (maculele, puxada de rede, etc) at the graduation batizado.
